Since 2005, the Sewanee Mountain Grotto has partnered with the SKTF (SERA Karst Task Force) to remove over 50 tons (100,000 lbs) of debris from the Russell Cave Watershed alone (Russell Cave is a National Monument). Other watershed clean-ups which Sewanee mountain grotto has been actively involved include:
